Hey guys, hope your week is going well. I’ve been meaning to work on this post for the longest time but couldn’t get some time to take pictures. Or when I did get time, couldn’t get someone to take them. The struggles of a blogger! And in the midst of all that we moved house so I’ve basically been living out of my suitcases…don’t know where half my stuff is. Anyway I finally found some time and after begging my brother, got him to take the pictures.
So one of my readers asked me how I would style tights. I had about 6 looks in mind but didn’t get to take shots of all of them so I will share 3 today and the other 3 on Monday.
The first look was a simple casual look. I went for black shorts and of course the tights which made me want to do an all black look. I paired them with a black top and the obvious choice was to wear a black blazer on top, but felt like there was too much black going on so I decided to layer up with a light mint sweater. To finish off my look and add some edge, I opted for this booties.
Girls’ Night Out
I wanted to create a look that would be perfect for dinner with the girls, drinks and maybe a little dancing after. So it had to be loose enough because if you are foodie like me, you wouldn’t want something clinging to your body showing that bulging tummy after you have stuffed yourself. Comfortable enough for me to move on the dance floor and warm enough for a night out. That’s where this little number came in, the dress is loose but still cute…forgive the creases. I feel like a night out ensemble without a leather jacket is not complete. The tights came in since the skirt is a bit too short for me and this gold heels which added the glam factor.
So it’s been a while since I put together an official look. So here I decided to put together an outfit for the office. I started off with a black dress, you can never go wrong with black. Rolled up my tights and decided to add a pop of color with the blazer. I love everything about this blazer, from the cut to the length and my favorite, the color! To finish off the look I slid into this leopard print heels and went for a brown bag.
