Hey guys! So I decided it was finally time to revive the ‘Tip of The Week’ series which I used to do a while back (see here and here) to share some tips and tricks I think may be helpful to you when putting together an outfit. Today I have two tips, make an effort and incorporate bright colors into your outfit.
There’s this quote I live by that no matter how you feel at the beginning of the day, if you make the effort to look good, you instantly start feeling better. I find this to be true because there are so many times I wake up and don’t even want to get out of bed and I’m just in a bad mood but when I start getting dressed up, I get into a better mood.
Nothing like a little color to brighten up your day huh? Color can also influence our mood or how we feel and I think bright colors tend to bring out more positive vibes. Our eyes are usually drawn to bright vibrant colors and they have a way of cheering us up and putting us into a more positive mood.
On this day, I was feeling a bit crappy in the morning until I saw this top lying in my closet. It’s so plain but the color just catches your eye! I paired it with my acid wash high waist jeans and threw in a little more color with the pink belt. It looks like I put a whole lot of effort into the look but in reality, I was just wearing a pair of jeans and a top but the colors amped up the whole look.
